We are excited to open registration for the May Statewide Conference at Killington Grand Hotel: From Challenges to Changes- Fostering a Culture of Safety and Hope in Complex Systems. FSD Staff will choose to attend either Monday May 5th or Tuesday May 6th. This page is for those who would like to register for Day 1- Monday May 5th.

The conference is designed for all full time Family Services Division staff, with a focus on effective strategies to deliver quality services that maintain focus on the safety of children, families, and our professional staff.

Our keynote speakers include Michael Cull and Elizabeth Riley, leaders at the National Partnership for Child Safety, and Vannessa Dorantes, Managing Director for Systems Improvement at Casey Family Programs and former Commissioner of the CT Department for Children and Families.

Here are links with more information about these leaders and their programs:

We’ve chosen to start at 9:00 and end at 3:30, to accommodate staff who need to travel longer distances to attend. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

We plan to offer 6 breakout sessions in the afternoon. You do not need to choose a breakout session ahead of time, you will choose on the day of the conference. Descriptions of those breakout sessions will be available at that time.

Please reach out with any questions you may have, and we look forward to seeing you in Killington!
