In this training, you will be introduced to the history, theory, and skills that characterize the standard of care for the treatment of clinically significant noncompliance and other problem behavior in young children, Behavioral Parent Training (BPT). This course is designed to increase your understanding of the rationale for BPT, introduce you to the fundamental BPT skills parents learn in treatment with their children, and summarize research on the impact of and challenges in BPT delivery.
