Thriving as a Transracial Family–Valuable Free Class Starting This Week!

There is still time to join Taking the Long View: Thriving as a Transracial/Transcultural Family. In this three-part, facilitated, virtual discussion, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other caregivers and professionals. See details below.

Spring 2024 Session: Thursdays on March 14th, 21st, 28th on Zoom
Time: 6:00-8:30pm
Registration is required: REGISTER HERE!

This workshop is open to all caregivers (adoptive, guardianship, foster, and kinship) and their extended family members, community members considering adopting or fostering, and all professionals who support youth and families (mental health, child welfare, schools, community organizations, etc.) in Vermont who would like to learn more about this topic.

Participants learn what it takes to thrive as a transracial/transcultural family raising children outside of their family of origin—and develop parenting strategies. Whether parenting an infant, child, or teen—or thinking about it—this workshop will further develop your awareness, knowledge, and skills, increasing confidence and helping to make your family stronger.
