Welcome to "Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect in Vermont"

This training was developed by the Vermont Child Welfare Training Partnership in collaboration with the Family Services Division of the Department for Children and Families. It is designed to provide a general overview of Vermont’s mandated reporting law as it pertains to suspected child abuse and neglect and will cover what it means to be a mandated reporter under Vermont law.

Throughout this training, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to recognize suspected child abuse and neglect and take appropriate action to help keep children safe.  It will take you approximately 90 minutes to complete, and you will receive a certificate upon completion.
